My Passionate Choice
It probably seems crazy to many people to not only leave high paying jobs in times of uncertainty, but to carry on with that "renegade" choice even though everyone is telling you to run straight back to the 8 to 5.
What I loved about the book is that there is never a point at which the Blanchards say, "and then we stopped." They still haven't stopped. They are constantly revisiting priorities, unearthing new passions and considering making new choices.
There is no moment at which "we have arrived" makes an appearance. Living what you love requires that you know yourself well, and you are always changing.
One of the best quotes from the book is "Enjoy life's dreams. They often provide some of life's greatest memories." I love that quote because it causes me to reflect on life and that no matter how perfectly I plan it, there may be detours. I can look at them as lemons to be squeezed into lemonade, or I can look at them as complete roadblocks with no outlets.
I continue to stand by my decisions regarding my "cloud living" life, because if there's one thing I'm passionate about, it's freedom. I consider freedom working for myself. Other people might consider it something totally different. While I continue to bounce ideas around and come up with new questions to ask myself in order to discover the many other passions that lie deep inside, I will always balance it out with freedom - and ask myself, "how can I do this and still be free?"

I am trying to get to the point where I live the life I love. I know that someday I will get there. It just takes time to find the right path. Another great article. Teresa
